Just wanted to add that the PokerNordica freeroll (http://forum.poker.com/showthread.php?t=26) is different to the tournament we will have for the first 250 new forum members.

PokerNordica generously donated the $200 freeroll, so there'll now be two freerolls for our forum members.

I heard this url website recently sold for over 20 million dollars.

Lets hope this free roll isn't a waste of anyones time. How big is this freeroll? 1 million dollar free roll for the first 250 would be a fun tournament.

It was actually sold twice so I don't even know what's going to happen to it. It definitely sold the first time for the 20 million but the second time is a little sketchy. The second time was a silent auction and is rumored to be for 28 million but it was slowed down because the new ownership cant prove ownership yet for some reason. I'm 100% positive that it sold at least once though. Also, if you guys want to check it out I have a forum of my own. It's mainly for US players but there's strategy sections there too so it's cool for anyone. I also give some good info about under 21 casinos in the US. It's a pretty new forum but we have some good posters already that check in daily. Please feel free to come and post about anything you would like, poker related or not. It's (dodgy forum link removed - please contact us if you wish to use our forum to advertise) so come check it out.

Great incentive to new ppl to join and hope they just dont sign up because of the freeroll and then dissapear,maybe you could make a 15 post minimum to play or something like that?.

It's not spam, I can plug a website if I want to. It's not like I answered the guys question or anything. I figured I would try to get some new users because it's pretty hard to get traffic to a recently started forum(like this one for instance). Also, this freeroll more than likely wont happen considering the site was SOLD!

I see we have 470 members yet only 149 active members.Cant get to grips with why so many inactive members when there is so much information to be gained from our great forum.The only reasoning i have is that they signed up hoping to get into the freeroll but didnt have the patience or any intentions of posting and helping the forum move forwards.In my opinion any member that is inactive for more than 60 days should be removed or we should have a title of "active member" under our names as long as we post 3-4 times a week.

The rules say "first 250 members to sign up and make a decent post. (ie no posts of 'here's my post' etc)" . I'm sure that when the time comes that all active members will be informed some how .
That's all the more reason to keep coming , with poker.com you never know just what kind of surprises you may find . :)
