Although this is true, some hands are more likely to win than others and will help you win more money, whilst others will help you in losing more money. So be selective about which hands you play.

Read up on the basic rules for the types of games and then download some free games to practice playing. You could also download pokerstars or ultimatebet or one of the many others and play in the play money games they offer.
