Well ive only just played here after my home at merge / carbon poker, and I got to say its just like going from a PS3 to sega mastersystem. The interface just looks dated.

Overall I found it quite boring as well as it seemed a bit slower.

On the plus side the tournaments are huge and a win would boost anyones bankroll considerably. But for me I think I will only play mid-sized (<300) medium to high buy-ins there in the future.

You nailed it. PS does not offer rakeback but they do have a sweet FPP store so you will see lots of people playing limit poker for points. Stay away from the low limit stuff since it is mostly gamblers and weekend bingo players that deliver bad beats like crazy. The larger buyin tourneys are made up of mostly satellite winners so expect alot of crazy stuff. The bubble phase of thier MTTs is the most mind numbingly tight things I have ever seen. Make it through though and the pay off is huge.

Yeh one good thing is the cash games are so juicy!!! I saw some crazy stuff go down people calling all ins with 3rd top pair and winning, and no this was not an isolated event.

read my post about rivercards to see what i think of PS,at first i thought it was a great online poker site but the more i have played on it the more i have seen that it favours the allin with nothing noobs,.i have now gone over to PKR.com which im so glad to say nails PS hands down in every sense of the word!!!im never going back!

i play at pokerstars mostly micro stakes and some micro stakes SNGs
there are some weird moves i see players make, but i like those players, those are the ones who make money for the good players
