OK folk...I shaved the old mustache off this morning and now I feel strange to say the least . In thirty years , since I was 16 , this is only the second time that's ever been done......lol

http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q17/nenesplayground/mustache.jpg and now http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q17/nenesplayground/nomustache.jpg . So today is the official beginning of Movember .

Let's all help to fight this terrible disease called prostate cancer . This means a lot to me..it's what killed my dad , and he was only 54 years of age......

To sponsor my Mo (moustache) and fight against prostate cancer please go to http://www.movember.com/us/donate, enter my registration number which is 66901 and your credit card details. Or you can sponsor me by check made payable to the "Prostate Cancer Foundation" clearly marking the donation as being for my registration number: 66901. Please mail checks to: Prostate Cancer Foundation, Attn: Movember, 1250 Fourth St, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

Just a bit of history on Movember .

Our Goals

From its humble beginnings back in 2003 where the idea to bring the moustache back to its former glory was first conceived over a few beers in Australia, Movember has grown to become an international movement aimed at changing the face of men's health.
Since that first year over 67,000 Mo Bros (guys growing moustaches) and their supporting Mo Sistas in Australia and New Zealand have raised $8.5 million and for the first time generated a significant amount of awareness for men's health and prostate cancer.
In 2007 Movember will be formally launched in the United States of America and we are proud to team with the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to unite Mo Bros and Mo Sistas from across the globe giving them the chance to change the face of men's health in their country and raise some serious funds for the number one male health issue - prostate cancer.
