 By my math and judging from the active tables I see daily
750,000 comp points would require a player to play 25/50 FLHE (4 Tables) for 21 hours a day for 30 days straight. So I won't be going to Vegas on this one by a long shot.
100,000 is doable though. I have about 10,000 so far and my eyes are already hurting.
I got almost everything on the Scavenger Hunt list but the SNG wins.
Get cracking. The race is on.
Well over $1000 in prizes that an average player can earn.:)

Unfortunately, your calculations are incorrect as you do not have access to any figures..
We already have had 1 player earn +200K comp points since the start of the month... in just 3 days!

"If" that is true then why waste our time on the promotion since only one WSOP seat is up for grabs for 750,000 points? Your own admin on your own forum says that only one player hit 750.000 last month?!?!!?!?!?
My math:
FLHE ring at .25/50 awards 3 points per hand that goes to a flop.
That means 250,000 hands.
In a 30 day period you have 720 hours.
250000 divided by 720 = 347.22 hands per hour.
Divide that by four which is just about the most tables on average you have running on average at .25/50 to get 86.805 hands per hour.
Do a little adjusting for the 100 dealt hand an hour site average and the points you get for sit and go challenges.
21 hours a day, four tabling, for 30 days straight.
Someone who can 10 or 12 table and has the massive bankroll to back this challenge. Yeah they can get it. Your 200,000 player is probably one of those few high buy in Heads Up players that just play each other over and over. Or is this a BLACKJACK challenge?

I understand that the cp requirements may look quite high for the top prizes, but in the past few months we have had several players earn more than enough to qualify: (i can't post names for privacy reasons)
- 1 x player = +1 mill comp points in Nov
- 3 x players = +550K comp points in Nov
- 5 x players = +350K comp points in Nov
So I am confident that players will make it!

I fail to see it as a waste of time....
You said it wasn't possible and I simply gave details to show that it is very achievable.
The player who is currently in the lead with comp points has not cleared any other item off their checklist and therefor wouldn't win the WSOP seat!
They may have even blown their bankroll and won't be able to go any further.... So, there is still plenty of point in pursuing the WSOP Seat or any of the other great prizes...

The way I would look at is , it's a challenge to take if you got the funds . With a worthwhile reward if you can pull it off . Nothing comes free in life , and this could possibly be the chance of a life time .

My point is that if you have the time, bankroll and skill it is achievable. If you are missing any of the three then anything but setting a realistic goal at one of the lower prizes is a waste of time. Much like everything else in life you have to determine if the cost is worth the reward.

Pork,
I made a post on the main carbon/poker forum and just got bashed by the high rollers.
My point was that a few of the obtainable goals are assigned prizes that put them too high on the list. For example, the Santa SNG prizes. IMHO, bot should be below the 50,000CP and the 3x Sunday GTD goal. They could have been less valuable prizes, but I believe that is where those goals belong. I say this as most players will get into the Santa SNG if they play more than average, and 15,000 CP is more than average for many of us. it just takes 5,000 CP to make the $50k freeroll, so 3x that amount is a lot for many of us here. 50,000 CP is just not reasonable to expect. Expecting players with $50 to $100 BR's to buy into a $60 game???
I am not trying to be greedy, I just want to know if I make the effort to play a lot more games, that I can win a few decent prizes.

Brian,
If you play in the sit and go satellites the comp points add up a whole lot faster.
30 for the 2 dollar satellite
150 for the 11 dollar one.
So collect your points by racking up satellite tickets then play in the sunday big ones.
:D
PS, I had about two days auto playing the blackjack $1 a hand 999 hands at a time to clear the bonus. The bonus covered the variance. Well carbon poker caught on and that is no more.
So its back to grinding out 19,000 comp points in about 24 days. Possible but it is going to hurt.
Only bullitpete really has a shot at the WSOP seat for 550,000 points in one month.

How can they change the terms after the thing starts?
now that a bunch of us know the secret to CP's, the few that exploited it are the only ones that will win the top prizes.
Playing down to win the other prizes is the easy part.

Does anybody know what the mystery task (number 8) is?
Thank you.

But the most important thing is you can still play blackjack to clear the bonus.

They dropped the points for the WSOP seat to 550,000!!!!!!
I can choke down about 750 points an hour at .25/.50 on four tables with an SNG in the background without going crazy. If I were unemployed I could probably make it with a huge effort. However, I know at least one person got to 200,000 points in three days. That is a hard lead to overcome.
Even Bullitpete or raincarriers will have a heck of a time getting there. All in all I would say that no one player has gotten to 750,000 yet with the Black Jack trick. They only had 5 days. Maybe Mr. CarbonPoker could answer this for us or give a leaderboard update?
