So I went to the feedback section on the OFFICIAL Carbon Poker forum and posted a request for an OFFICIAL private section for Affiliates there. Someone DELETED my request. What kind of service is that?
The employees and the mods there can sometimes be helpful, while at other times either show or allow a total lack of respect for members. By allow, if someone asks an honest question, and some idiot member flames the question, mods will over look this. Mods may even "endorse" the flame by posting in the thread later without adressing the flames.
So, how was my request innapropriate and why would they not even PM me with an answer? :(

Ice , maybe I shouldn't even reply seeing as how I'm not what you are probably looking for....but what I would suggest is maybe trying to email their support over there or your affiliate manager at the site .
I agree that an affiliate forum for the site could be a big help to all that are promoting the site...and the affiliate site itself seems to be a bit in need lately. An ex., no regular blog post , no news letters , ( I don't even know when affiliate games are held unless some just happens to catch me online to let me know) or the likes to really keep a man updated .
This is Poker.com , no part of Carbon and I "feel" that perhaps you are still thinking it's the one and same ......No telling when someone from over there will see this here .

Sinksi - figured if they will not let us talk about it there, we can talk about it here then. I do understand this site is not related. I think the few of us bloggers/affiliates that are active fourm users should not have to FEAR censorship on their official forum.
We should feel free to talk about this here though.
They should actually be happy that someone cares about this, raather than find my requests inapproproiate.
I was a SYSOP for many years on Compuserve and a few other forums. If I ever removed or moved someones post, I was held accountable by the owner(s) to PM that member in a nice tone to explain such actions.

Killer,
That is why you should stay here. LOL
Honestly that forum is like not like most other sites forums. The mods there are independent and not 'directly' employed by the site. They probably have absolutely no idea. Also since most of them are Carbon Affiliates (Wink, Wink) they have very little desire to help another affiliate out. If you want a response there it is best to PM Liam directly he will eventually get back to you.
