When is Pokerstars finally going to do something about the river card situation??
How many times (in a row i might add) that ive gone in with pocket aces, kings, queens and with the best hand preflop for some noob to go all in with total rubbish just for them to hit the river card with the lowest of pairs such as 3s and 2s etc!!!Pull your fingers out and do something about this,i play on mostly all of the online poker sites and this site is THE WORST for favouring the noob all in players!!!!its down right dispicable,i am never ever going to spend any money on the worst poker program on the net anymore!!!!

Every site has horrible players and miracle rivers. Heck even live I have lost on the river after playing a hand perfectly. It is called variance.

And at times it can seem to happen more online due to the fact that you see so many more hands in a time frame than you do "live".

i thought id try and prove my point by becoming one of these "allin noobs" by going in with absolute rubbish, and guess what..........i was winning big time, hitting straights, flushes and low pairs on the river, beating hands like ace king, ace queen etc,i know this sounds like the worst thing to do in a tourny but i wanted to see how this seems to work against me when i try and stick to my proper gameplan by playing only high pockets and ace kings etc.It proved to me once and for all that pokerstars does favour the allin noob big time.dont worry i am certainly not a noob by playing like this all the time, but now i know why there are players on that site that do this all the time.i won a small 45 seat tourny by using this tactic, not the big time i know but just to try it out.

The only way to win on pokerstars..................Fold the aces, forget the kings, go allin with 8 3

Top,
What is your screen name on Pokerstars?
Maybe we can see what you are talking about.

Why do people always bash the online rooms because they do not understand variance? Ever heard the saying "shit happens"? it definitely applies to poker, all forms of poker.

The river card is the final card dealt in a poker hand, to be followed by a final round of betting and, if necessary, a showdown. In Texas hold 'em and Omaha hold'em, the river, also called fifth street, is the fifth and last card to be dealt to the board, after the flop and turn.
