I don't bet on the fights , but I do enjoy them . Should be a good event with Serra being in fighting form .

GSP is going to slaughter Serra; right?Looks like you picked it . In the interview after the fight, "Thanks to Matt Serra, he took the fight in my town. It means a lot to me," said St-Pierre, who is just 26 years old. "If we have to fight again in New York. I will do it. If I have to fight in your town, I will "
After this one, a third fight would be a tough sell. Serra did score a first round knockout in the first meeting against St-Pierre, but Saturday's performance made that look like a fluke.
"I wanted to work submissions," said Serra, who runs several jiu-jitsu schools in New York. "He was just too slippery. Georges was great, explosive and strong. He kicked my ass. He's phenomenal. He's the best in the world."

I figured GSP was going to beat him, and I couldn't agree more about their first meeting being a fluke...
Now I'm looking forward to the tito ortiz fight... I hope he's in decent shape after doing the reality show circuit...

Do any of you remember the early days of the UFC? The fights may not have been as entertaining but I found them much more interesting. It was cool to see how one style would fair against another style. Back before MMA was a catch phrase. How about UFC VI I think it was that one when they let all the retards in the Octagon. There was one guy who had invented his own art, SAFTA System of Agressive Fighting Techniques of America. He was brutal, all he did was eye gouge and scratch. That was a horrible event.

I enjoyed the old days when shamrock was still in his prime. Say what you want, but the man was tough as nails.
