Poker.com the poker room is no longer per say. Poker.com is now one of , if not the best, Poker Portal you will find on the net .
The old poker.com room is now just a skin of Carbon Poker, which you will find advertised right here at poker.com .

The Merge Network is what poker.com is using to incorporate the other portals with their original portal.
#1) You can reload your poker.com portal using the player admin link at https://secure.pokercs.com
#2) You can not start another poker.com account to just get rake.
#3) You can use carbonpoker to start a new account as has been suggested but I can not recommend a site where you can get your own rakeback. Pokernordica is also part of the Merge network and some people have affiliate accounts through them where you can earn 30% rakeback. The problem is under these programs you can not also bonus whore and I think they limit the types of freerolls you can quaiify for.
I believe that some of the portals offer independent promotions and some game structures unique to their product - but they all overlap.

Unfortunately there is not enough action at the right tables (Fix limit) on the Merge Network to keep legitimate rakeback players interested. The only tables raking enough are the short handed No Limit cash games which give most of us old grinders ulcers. Shorthanded players have a tendency to bust the old bankroll and move to another site quite often. Until Merge pulls their head out of their butts and start doing things to encourage FLHE players to hang around I can not recommend any kind of rakeback there.
Go for the bonuses and promotions. The math on those is outrageous.

hmm, I need a good guide on rakeback manipulation?
On carbon I earn at least $50 a month. I play NL games, mixture of cash and SNG's with a few MTTs. On my more active months I have earned closer to $100 (at 40%).
I will go check pocketfives for a guide
