Do you use a HUD/Software assistant/ICM Calculator?

I would like to thank FullTilt poker for banning the use of ICM Calculators and HUD software. The games there are actually beatable now. I play the same exact stake SNGs on Stars and FullTilt with remarkably different results on each. On Stars you see 4 to 5 players per SNG playing up to 24 tables making what can only be mathematical calls made with the aid of these software assistants. FullTilt was the same way until about a month ago when they suddenly began to ban and suspend accounts of players using the programs. Two sites, same stakes, lots of similar player names and yet opposite results.

Software assistants are clearly an unfair advantage and I applaud FullTilt for taking a stand.

Peace Out

I hadn`t heard about this. If they`ve banned HUD does that mean they`re no longer allowing Poker Tracker? Afaik the latest version has the HUD built in.

I've never used such software myself .

Tilt implemented a whole slew of security features that reached out and zapped a great deal of the multitablers using the HUD (Heads Up Display) features on several really popular sites and programs. Basically anything Datamining, autoclicking, autofolding or autoselecting etc... The biggest loser was Pokerhound which got lots of people's accounts blocked, funds seized and lifetime bans.

PT3 is still good since it only records hands you play and its HUD is referencing a personal playing database not observed hands.

Good Stuff as far as I am concerned.

That`s fair enough. I`ve used PT2 without the HUD and found it quite a useful tool as much for self analysis as for analysing other players. The other tools you mentioned sound far too bot-ish and I`m glad to see FT taking a stand on them.
