I want to start a thread about poker books. Any experiences which are good and which are bad? I would especially be interested to know if anyone has read a good book or articles about omaha Hi and omaha hi/lo, since most of the books on the market are about hold'em

My favourite book so far is Phil Gordons - Little Green Book. The writing style is very educational and I like the way he tells what he is thinking in different situations and how he plays.

I can`t remember the exact title but it`s something like "Winning Omaha 8b". It`s by Lou Krieger and another guy. Pretty much the bible of om8b.

Not sure for PLO. I believe Sammy Farha has a PLO book out but I can`t say how good it is. Still Sammy is a pretty mean PLO player so anything he has to say should be interesting.

For NLHE check out the Harrington On Holdem series by Dan Harrington. You should also check out Super System 2 by Doyle Brunson. SS2 Also has chapters on other games. There`s definitely a chapter on Om8b by Jen Harmon.

My favourite is still the "bible of poker". Doyles Super System (the first one)....I still like to go back and read on it occasionally.
