You cannot beat the bankroll building tools the Merge Network. I wrote instructions on how to turn your play money to freemoney using the funsteps. Here is the link. (http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/12265/rgc2005.html)

good advice Pork.

If I may I'd like to add some more advice that has helped me in the FunSteps.

Play only one level at a time, and build up several next steps. I find it better to not jump directly from one step to the next because the play in step one is bingo crazy. and when you get to step 2 you got to adjust your game.

I usually play several days only in step one, and build up about 10-20 "step 2s"

then play those only. don't switch back and forth. After this I will wait till the next day and play only the "step 3s" that I have saved up.

As far as your advice NOT to call 1st hand All-ins without AA KK etc...

I agree to a point, If you have LOTS of play money (I have 350,000+) then it may benefit you to play a bit of bingo yourself. If I can manage to get on 4 step ones at the same time, I will call 1st hand with any suited connectors/gappers "if" there are three all-inners or more. Reason: your odds are not that bad against the type of hands they play. A6o K4o 33 etc. Also since the 1-2 steps are 6 handed, if you pick up 3k-4k on first hand, shouldn't have much trouble in taking it down.

But if you have less play money, then you can still win with some smart play. HINT: if you hit nuts on flop, wait for the others to offer you ALL their chips, they usually do.

good luck all

Oh BTW, some have complained that it's hard to get in the fun step1. Here's the scoop.

set your SNG filter so that only funstep1 will show.
switch the ALL SNG table list so that funsteps appear on top. (buy in colum).

timing is everything.

they list a new game as soon as another one fills, AND then when the cards are dealt to determine the button postion AND when one deals the first hand. these are the times they "refresh" the list also.

if you having trouble getting in, open the game that just filled and wait for the first card to be dealt. then switch from "filter" to "all" back and forth till you see the new one. ya still gotta be quick but the server will "refresh" as soon as the card is dealt (within a few secs anyway) so be ready. I can get on 3 tables sometimes before I have to react to the first one.

edit: ALSO Liam (owner or president or something) said he is working on changing the format and having HIGHER Payouts WOOHOO
