points for cash

I would like to see a system where you can buy points for cash,say 50 points per dollar and use these points to enter tournaments where the prizes are for points or entry into a real money tournament and also be able to exchange your points back to real money.
You could work it the same as normal entries like a 5 point tourney would cost you 5.50 points so the house makes its percentage.Also you could have a $100 freeroll once a week fo the top 500 points earners.

thanks for the feedback. What about a contest for referals. The user with the most referals will win let say 50. Each referal must have a least 5 post to be counted. Would that be interesting?
