Hello.

I have a question. How can i get the stars near my nick? By winning hands, earning more money or winning tournaments? Please answer.

I may be wrong , but I think the star earning feature is no more...but it used to be pretty much based on how much you played , and ring tables would earn them the fastest .

Somebody told me that i have to win tournaments... Hmmm... Maybe a member of a poker.com team shoudl take a voice.

Somebody told you wrong..the wife has three gold stars and has one only one tourney win, a lot of ring table play tho. I've gotten 1 1/2 silvers , have won more tourneys ,but have played mostly just sng's . Been a long while since I've gotten another star tho . You might try going to the lobby page (on the poker site), click on player admin, on the right of that page is a listing, you should find what your wanting there. Or email support@pokercs.com

As far as I know stars are still awarded for cash games but no longer for play money games. Tourneys and sngs do count towards stars but take ages to build up. Not that they`re any indication of skill, just means you`ve played a lot of hands. If anything I`d worry about the players with no stars or awards because they`re probably hiding them.

Spot on. The Stars indicate a cash game player. The more stars the more play and more than likely a better than average player. Also the accolades can tell alot. I love having the freeroll winner banners to my left the most.;)

U r getting stars when u earn some comp points. When u have about 10.000 comp points than u had 3 bronzy stars.

Nope definitely not true, I`ve earned considerably less comp points than 10k and have 3 bronze stars. I went from 1 to 3 in about a week playing the 25/50c limit tables, just getting enough points for the freerolls.

The truth is the only people who know exactly how the stars are awarded are the people who run the site and they aren`t telling :)

I have had three gold stars for quite awhile and I have a little over 30,000 points. According to Shane on the pokercs forum the stars represent how much rake you have paid.
